Kiln Overview:
The AMACO EX-381 SF is designed for demanding studio artists, featuring a 28-inch diameter and 22-inch deep firing chamber (8.1 cu. ft) ideal for medium to large projects. Built to fire up to Cone 10 (2350°F), this kiln combines durability with precision, thanks to its 3-inch firebrick insulation for superior heat retention. The reversible lid and bottom slabs extend the kiln’s lifespan by allowing wear to be evenly distributed. Equipped with 5 Kanthal A-1 elements and the Select Fire™ Computer Control, it ensures consistent, user-friendly firings every time. The EZ-Lift™ spring-assisted hinge makes opening and closing effortless, while the 7-foot power cord with a NEMA 15-50 plug (3-phase) offers flexible installation.

NOTE: Width dimension includes control box and height includes the stand (8’) on all EXCE18 klins.
Klin should be vented to the outside using the AMACO® Master Klinvent and up to 60 feet of 4” diameter duct material-galvanized furnace ducting, flexible aluminum ducting or PVC (maximum four 90° turns).
Klin must be 18” from any wall. Do not place kiln on flammable surfaces or near flammable materials.
